Sports Day 2026

The weather certainly wasn’t going to stop us from making the best memories during our annual sports day! We had the most wonderful day filled with friendship, fun and plenty of exciting races and games. Our children were an absolute credit to us. They cheered each other on, demonstrated exceptional sportsmanship, and showed great support for their friends.

Days like today don’t just happen without a lot of help  - we are incredibly lucky to have such a supportive school community behind us. We would like to extend our thanks to the parents and grandparents for joining us and making today so special. The children absolutely loved having you there, and their happy, smiling faces said it all!

To our amazing PTA, thank you for organising and helping out and ensuring everyone was filled with tea and lovely scones as well as helping with the children’s dinner too. To Annemarie and Orla, as always you kept us well looked after and fed with your delicious homemade treats and for that we are so grateful.

John Wilson and Tony Conway were out this morning setting up the tent, hanging bunting and ensuring the grass was perfectly ready for the children. Thank you both so much, we really appreciate your help.

To Mr McCann - thank you so much for joining us and creating such wonderful games for the children to play. Your continued support and dedication to our school means so much to us.

Ronan Conlan from Fitminds led our Fun Sports and the energy and fun he brought was incredible - Ronan you are amazing at what you do and we are very grateful for your support.  Thank you to the past pupils who joined us today and proved to be a wonderful help -we are always so happy to have you come back to help us out.  

Last but by no means least, thank you to our wonderful pupils. We are so proud of each and every one of you for taking part and enjoying a special day with your friends. We hope you all enjoyed the day as much as we did. Enjoy watching the special memories we captured today!
