P5 pupils from Ballylifford PS and Coagh PS are learning about ‘Water’ as part of their World Around Us topic. Frank and David from The Ballinderry River Trust delivered the eggs for the 'Trout in the Classroom' Project linked to Water.
Over the next few weeks the class will be monitoring and recording water temperatures and cleaning/changing water in the tank. At the beginning of March the pupils from both schools will release the fish into the Ballinderry River. This is a great experience for all pupils to learn and help take care of our local environment.
