Today we said goodbye to our wonderful student teacher, MrMcCann. Over the last six weeks Mr McCann has made a fantastic impact on our school, he has been so hardworking and dedicated to teaching our pupils as well as getting involved in all aspects of school life. The pupils in P.5/6/7 were very sad to see MrMCann leave, they have absolutely enjoyed every minute of his wonderful teaching, his kind and caring ways and of course all the football, too! At assembly this morning the pupils presented MrMcCann with a signed football and a little gift from everyone. Aoibheann, Leah and Jarlath also read a poem that we created together to showcase our appreciation for everything he has done. We would like to sincerely thank MrMcCann for being such a fantastic role model for our pupils and for the brilliant effort he has put into all his work. We wish you every blessing and success as you continue your teaching training - remember that Ballylifford’s door is always open!
