From September we have been working towards achieving our Take 5 Level 2 award. Ms Hurl along with our Take 5 ambassadors kept a record of all the different ways in which we were implementing the 5 ways of well-being in our school. Some examples include:-
Connect - Animation with Loughshore Cluster schools, Shared Education, Ballylifford Tots and Tea
Keep Learning - Outdoor Learning, new reading scheme, learning Irish
Take Notice - Kindness/Friendship week, monthly Feel Good Friday
Be active - FitMinds with Ronan, Active Kids PE, After school sports and yoga
Give - fundraising for Charis and the Shoebox appeal
We are extremely proud of all our hard work this year to promote positive health and well-being. Mrs Conway was delighted to receive the award yesterday on behalf of Ms Hurl and our super Take 5 ambassadors. We will continue our Take 5 journey next year as we work towards our Level 3 award. A special thank you to Lindsey and all the Take 5 team for their support this year.
