Today, all groups travelled to Ballyronan Marina for the final session of our shared education with Coagh and Derrychrin. This was a fantastic opportunity for the pupils to experience and explore the great outdoors and take part in a range of activities facilitated by Mid Ulster council. The pupils participated in a range of different activities which included:
~identifying insects and bugs from the water
~Paper potters - planting peas
~Water safety
~Planting trees
~Bird watching
~Building a shelter
~Forest school
This was a wonderful learning experience for our children which they throughly enjoyed, it was a fantastic end to our shared education experience. A big thank you to everyone from Mid Ulster Council who were involved in the delivery of today’s workshop.
