Shared Education

Over the past number of weeks, we have been taking part in lots of fun and engaging activities with Coagh and Derrychrin Primary schools as part of our farming topic. The children had the opportunity to visit Little Bridge Farm, where they experienced first hand the busy life of a farmer. They watched how robotic milking works and got to see a range of animals, including calves only a few days old.  We also enjoyed some lovely chocolate and strawberry milk, fresh from the farm. We also enjoyed using Spheros to develop our coding skills. Together, we designed maps of a farm and used Sphero Edu app to programme our Spheros to travel around our farmyard. In addition, we have had fun perfecting our basketball skills at Ballinderry Hub. Everyone has been working so well together, and we have developed some lovely friendships along the way.
