Well done to our newly elected School Council and we wish them good luck for the year ahead.
We would like to thank local MLA Patsy McGlone who kindly offered to speak to the pupils about his role as a councillor and politician and he also answered many interesting questions from the pupils.
Patsy also presented the elected councillors with certificates, school council badges and chaired theiqr first meeting with election of the committee. The pupils really enjoyed the experience and we appreciate Patsy giving up his time to make it memorable for the pupils. The real message today for the pupils was 'helping others'.
