In school the children are made aware of the importance of helping others who may be in circumstances less fortunate than their own and to this end we are participating for the first time in the Road of Hope Christmas Shoe Box Appeal.
Eastern Europe have thousands of boys and girls who have been abandoned or placed in orphanages by parents who cannot afford to feed them. This is our first year participating and we hope that all shoe boxes donated will help brighten the lives of many underprivileged children at Christmas which is a special time of the year.
Our pupils have been issued a leaflet giving guidance on the content of the shoe box and the boxes are to be returned by Friday 27th October. We appreciate your support and generosity with this cross community charity.
