Over the past month we have observed the life cycle of a butterfly.
We watched our caterpillars grow for 2 and a half weeks until they went into their cocoons. About 2 weeks later some of us were lucky enough to actually witness the butterflies emerge! We observed the "Painted Lady Butterflies" for a few more days feeding them sugar water. Today we were very excited to release them and watch them flutter away, we'll keep an eye out to see if we can spot them in the future!
