PSNI visit for road safety week
A big thank you to Constable Jonny Wilson for coming to our School this morning and telling all the boys and girls how to be safe on the road. We talked about how to be safe inside a car by wearing a seat belt, not distracting the driver and sitting in a car seat if needed. He also talked about how to be safe near a road, not to play close to a road, never wear earphones or looking at a phone when crossing a road and always wearing bright clothes especially at night time. He highlighted the importance of remembering all of these key points not only this week on road safety week but every week.
P.1/2 were super excited as they then got to sit inside the police car and even got to turn on the flashing lights and sirens.
