Play based learning in P.1/2

P.1/2 had a lovely morning in play based learning all linked to our new theme - Oh it’s chilly. They explored how to melt ice and release the ducks using droppers, dropping warm water onto the ice. They continued their winter pictures using pasta we had painted last week, they designed their own winter hats, they developed their fine motor skills by threading beads onto a pipe cleaner snowflake, they built igloos using magnetic tiles and they ‘painted’ snowflakes into flour. It was great to see all the happy, smiling faces as they played together.
