Congratulations to our P.4 First Holy Communicants who celebrated this very special sacrament in St. Patrick's Church, Ballinderry along with the P.4 Pupils from Derrychrin PS. It was a lovely parish event and Fr Donnelly described it as 'surreptitious'. Thank you to Mrs Muldoon, Orla, Lynda and Ieva for preparing the children so well and to Mrs Sweeney for working with the P.4 children over the last 6-8 weeks to learn the tin whistle. A special thank you to Miss Hughes and Mrs Sweeney for leading the choir - the music was beautiful and we really appreciate the P.5/6/7 children coming along to sing.
Thank you to John Wilson for having the chapel ready for practices and to the Altar society for the stunning arrangements.
