Our Eco/Sensory Garden

Over the last few weeks Martin Wilson has been working hard to create our new Eco/Sensory Garden.  Our Friends of Ballylifford secured funding for this in Term 3 last year.  We were delighted to return to school this morning to see our sensory path completed.  Have a look at the photos - what a fantastic job. 
Martin has filled our planter boxes with soil ready for us to start planting some vegetables and herbs.  We hope to plant Rosemary and Lavender as these are relaxing smells for our sensory garden. 
In the spring we will also be adding a little colour as our Eco council will be planting some flowers.  We will continue to add to our Eco/Sensory Garden over the next few weeks.  Thank you Martin for your time and patience - we are so proud of the finished result!
