NSPCC - speak out and stay safe lesson in P.1/2
Today P.1/2 completed a lesson from the NSPCC where we discussed this year’s theme 'speak out and stay safe’ as part of friendship week. We learned about buddy the speech bubble and why he was a speech bubble - to encourage us to speak out. We talked about the different ways to cause someone harm and what we should do if we are being harmed or know someone else being harmed. We discussed our safeguarding net in School and identified who we could talk to if needed and also who we could talk to outside of school. We also learned a fun way of remembering the Childline phone number and coloured a nice picture to end our lesson. Everyone contributed brilliantly to class discussions and were very sensible during our important lesson today, well done P.1/2!
