Music in P1/2

Today P.1/2 enjoyed a music lesson where they discussed how they could use their own bodies as percussion instruments. We made a variety of sounds using our hands, mouths and feet and then we had a few volunteers to make a funny noise which everyone tried their best to copy. We learned all about rhythm and used our instruments to beat the rhythm to the song ‘golden’ and discussed how to use the instruments to make a quiet noise and then louder noises in the chorus.
We then used our instruments to aid our singing to the days of the week song which we have been learning in numeracy to sequence our days. As you can see from the video the boys and girls were all super!
