This morning Elita from MEGA Engineering returned to deliver a workshop to our P.5/6/7 children. Elita was accompanied by 2 other engineers - Donna from BMI and Stephen from Rubble-master. The children had to design a boat to carry as many 2ps on the water as possible. They had to design the boat, build it and then test it. Elita explained the 6 steps involved in the engineering process and discussed the importance of creativity and problem-solving skills. All the boats were fantastic and Aron, Tiarnan and Cain designed and made the best boat as it held the most coins when floating on the water. Well done everyone! A huge thank you to Elita, Donna and Stephen for sharing their knowledge of Engineering and for the exciting workshop this morning.
