MAPS Day

Now that our P1 pupils have settled into life at Ballylifford PS with great confidence and are now staying to 2pm, it meant we were able to have our first MAPS Day of the new school year. Every Friday the pupils get the opportunity to develop their extra-curriculum learning through Music, Art and PE/Sport lessons with the expertise of our specialist teachers. The pupils get a great opportunity to develop their tin whistle talents, their Art lessons are connected to their WAU theme work and in PE the P1-P4 pupils develop their fundamental skills focusing this week on spatial awareness and KS2 developing their various throwing and catching techniques. It’s a day the pupils really enjoy!
