As we have gathered all the apples from the tree we decided to have some measuring fun. In groups we measured the circumference and the weight. We had to decide which measuring equipment was appropriate for each activity, such kitchen scales, bathroom scales, tape measures etc. We filled bags to weigh different amounts such as 1/4, 1/2, 3/4 and 1 kg. We also discussed why not all groups got the same answers in each activity. Everyone worked really well as a team and we thoroughly enjoyed the tasks.
