The children in P3 and P4 enjoyed the practical work of measure. They worked independently, in pairs and groups successfully to estimate the length of various objects within their environment and then they checked if their estimations were the correct length by measuring the objects. The children measured in centimetres and half centimetres and in metres and centimetres. They did this by using half metre strips, metre sticks, centimetre rulers and tape measures.
