We enjoyed a wonderful morning of music, song and dance as we all came together to celebrate St Patrick’s Day at our annual Green Day celebrations. P.1/2 preformed the Leprechaun Dance and showcased their beautiful leprechaun art work and Heidi made us all smile with her dance performance. P.3/4 were very creative as they performed their own version of Whiskey in the Jar wearing their lovely leprechaun badges which they made in class. P.5/6/7 played Killegah and Grace on tin whistle alongside Mrs Sweeney and they also performed Rattlin Bog. We ended our assembly with a whole school rendition of Ireland’s Call - what a fantastic morning! Happy st Patrick’s Day from all the boys and girls in Ballylifford.
