We extend our thanks to Alex from HSENI who came to visit us today to discuss safety on the farm. During today’s session we learnt about how to stay alert when visiting a farm, the dangers of being on board a quad and how you can drive a tractor on the road from age 16. Alex commented on the excellent questions asked and the children’s knowledge about farming. She also commended the boys and girls on their excellent behaviour and how attentive they were. We also touched on the importance of staying safe in the sun and how we can safely enjoy the great outdoors. A very informative session with lots of important messages, thank you Alex.
