Egg-cellent egg-periment in P.1/2
P.1/2 have been learning all about nursery rhymes for our world around us theme ‘A time to rhyme’. This week we were focusing on the nursery rhyme ‘Humpty Dumpty’, the boys and girls enjoyed singing along to the nursery rhyme and discussing why humpty dumpty couldn’t be put back together again. We conducted an experiment to test how easy it is to break an egg by firstly dropping an egg on a soft surface followed by a hard surface. The boys and girls were so egg-cited to see the egg breaking on the hard surface. We then did the same but this time using a boiled egg and watched how it didn’t break on both the soft and hard surface. Each time we made predictions about what we thought would happen and had a super morning completing our egg-periment. Well done P.1/2.
