The P.6 and P.7 members of the Eco team had a brilliant day with Miss Mayo at the Eco-Schools Award day for Mid Ulster District Council at Hill of the O’Neill & Ranfurly House, Dungannon. We were amazed to see so many local Schools also achieving their Green flags, highlighting just how important it is to look after our environment. Bronagh, the field officer for keep Northern Ireland beautiful talked about how impressive our application was and how great it was to see the pupils completing the healthy eating checks, bin checks and litter picks. We hope to add our new green flag to the front of our School in the coming days. We were also delighted to see past pupil Shauna McGuckin there to receive an award for placing 2nd in her article for the young reporters for the environment.
