Children’s Mental Health Week

This week we celebrated Children’s Mental Health with a week full of activities organised by our School Council based on our Take 5 initiative ~ CLANG (Connect, Learn, Active, Give). On Monday, we connected together to create our new playground games with our outdoor equipment. On Tuesday, the teachers swapped classes and carried out lessons to promote our mental health. Mr McCann led our active day on Wednesday with lots of fun and exciting games for all the boys and girls. On Thursday we all took notice of each other and shared some lovely compliments about our friends and today the children were given extra play after lunchtime. We had so much fun this week looking after and promoting a positive mental health.
