The P.6 and P.7 along with P.5 boys enjoyed a fantastic morning playing in the basketball tournament in St Pius X College. The pupils played fantastic within their teams, displaying excellent skills throughout each game. Our girls team were delighted to reach the Gold final and played an excellent game of basketball against Derrychrin, however they were narrowly beaten in the final few minutes. A huge well done to Rhys and Tilly for being our two top scorers throughout today’s games, we were so proud of them both in their efforts during the shootout competition. A big thank you to Mr Young and his referees for such a well run and enjoyable event! Also, well done to Isla on winning a spot prize from her recent visit to the college on their open day!
