Today 8 of our Tin whistle group were delighted to attend the Senior Citizens Christmas dinner in Ballinderry Community Hub accompanied by Mrs Sweeney. The children sang ‘Christmas in Ballinderry’ and then played ‘Away in a manger’, ‘Silent Night’, ‘When a Child is born’, Hallelujah’ and ‘Jingle Bells’ on the tin whistle. They finished their performance by singing the song ‘Now our story has been told’. Thank you to Mrs Sweeney for having the children so well prepared.
The children really enjoyed the opportunity to perform at this special parish event followed by Derrychrin PS. A huge thank you to Killian for inviting us and we hope all parish members enjoyed their Christmas dinner and the Christmas songs. Merry Christmas everyone!
