Ballinderry Credit Union quiz

We were delighted to host the Ballinderry Credit Union school quiz in Ballylifford today. It was a wonderful morning for the pupils of our school, Derrychrin and St Patrick’s, Loup. The children who participated and those in the audience displayed fantastic behaviour and attention throughout the quiz. Congratulations to Derrychrin team A and team B who were the overall winners and now go on to represent their school at the next round in Cookstown. A big well done to our own two teams who came a very close second, only missing out by a few points, we are so proud of them!
Our local schools are very lucky to have such close connections with the Credit Union, thank you to the members of the committee who joined us this morning, especially to Brian McVey for being such a wonderful quizmaster.  We would like to extend a huge thank you to Philomena McGuckin for all her hard work and organisation for this morning, we appreciate all her wonderful efforts!
