The children thoroughly enjoyed the visit by Irish Author Declan Carville. We discussed and reviewed one of his stories, “The Magic Harp”. He even left us a signed copy. The children also got to ask many questions of what it is like to be an author and how he writes books. Declan gave us excellent tips on how to write a story and how illustrating a story is very important too. We got to see a collection of his books and he read to us “The Fairy Glen” and “Valentine O’Byrne”. It was a magical creative day.
