A Play in a Day!

P.5/6/7 had a fantastic day working with Ciara McGowan from CMAC Drama to create and perform “A Play in a Day.” Ciara worked with the pupils on Friday afternoon to create a script based on the title of their play, “The Enchanted Book,” before coming together today to learn lines, paint the set and to learn a variety of songs and dances. The children were an absolute credit to our school and fully engaged in all aspects of the play, shining with confidence and showing their wonderful gifts and talents. After rehearsing all day the pupils showcased their play for the younger boys and girls before performing for their families. This was a wonderful day which the children throughly enjoyed, we are so proud of them! A super job boys and girls! A huge thank you to Ciara from CMAC Drama for coming into school and giving our pupils the opportunity to be involved in this dramatic performance.
