What a fantastic day at our annual Sport’s Day! A huge thank you to all the staff for getting everything ready for Sport’s Day, a lot of preparation went into organising yesterday’s events to ensure the children had a fun and enjoyable morning. A special thank you to our PTA ‘Friends of Ballylifford’ and to Anne Marie and Orla for providing tea/coffee and refreshments for the parents. Our PTA are an invaluable support throughout the school year, organising special events and securing funding to purchase new resources for school. We greatly missed our Caretaker John for getting everything organised outside. A special thank you to David from Active Kids for coming along to sports day and helping to organise and co-ordinate activities. Ronan from Fit minds also joined us yesterday and carried out a number of jobs from delivering our fun sports to our DJ as well as assisting with the medal presentation in the afternoon. Thank you to all the parents/carers for coming along to support the children when competing in the races but most importantly working as a team and having fun.
Lastly, to our AMAZING children from P1-7, you were all fantastic yesterday. We are so lucky to have wonderful children who participated so well and thoroughly enjoyed their day. Our P7 pupils were brilliant role models and carried out their leadership role as mature and sensible P.7s. They had a great day on their last sport’s Day and enjoyed taking part in the Hokey Pokey with their parents and teachers. A wonderful day was had by all, the beautiful weather was an added bonus. Well done boys and girls, we are so proud of you all.
