Today we enjoyed a wonderful tour around Stormont with tour guide James and our local MLA, Patsy McGlone. The pupils throughly enjoyed today’s tour and learnt so much about leadership in Northern Ireland and the work that goes on in Stormont. The pupils were given the opportunity to sit at the table in the Chamber, where all the important talks take place. Our School council members were delighted to have the opportunity to join Patsy in his seat within the Chamber. A huge thank you to James for the wonderful tour of Stormont, the children learnt so much. We are so grateful to Patsy for taking so much time out of his busy schedule to join the boys and girls from Ballylifford on today’s tour. A wonderful educational experience for our pupils!
