This morning we welcomed the new P.1’s into our School to give them a chance to see and play within the classroom before they begin in September. Mrs Conway and Miss Mayo gave a presentation to all the parents in the dinner hall to provide them with all the important information about our School. A huge thank you to Aoibhé and Cormac for reading a poem about their experiences in P.1 and telling the new parents all about our Play and activities we do in School.
Luckily, the weather was good today and allowed the current P.1’s to show all the new P.1’s our fantastic outdoor play area with Caroline and Nicola. The boys and girls had a super morning playing, they then had a little snack inside and played a few games such as Simon says. Everyone said they had a great day and are so excited to start in September. A big thank you to some of the P.7 girls - Tilly, Aoibheann and Isla for helping and to Anne-Marie and Orla for providing delicious treats and tea for the parents.
