The Children from P3/4 thoroughly enjoyed their visit to Cookstown Library, where they were read a Christmas Story by Library Staff Paddy and were shown how to search for books by using an index. The children found out that they can take a lend of nine library books at a time and can phone the branch if they need to extend their loan or can also return their books to the Magherafelt Branch.
Most importantly, they discovered that the books in the library can be used to gain points in Accelerated Reader tests in School (AR).
