Today Elita returned from MEGA (Manufacturing and Engineering, Growth and Advancement) to provide our P.5/6/7 class with a wonderful workshop during which they had the opportunity to be engineers. Elita demonstrated the Engineering Design process. The children were planners, designers and problem-solvers working together in groups to create a trailer with Lego. All groups did a wonderful job and enjoyed testing their trailers on the ramps. We discovered that the heavier the trailer, the further it travelled. Amazing work boys and girls - Elita thank you for a wonderful morning of engineering at Ballylifford!
