Grandparents Day at Ballylifford PS

Today we celebrated Grandparents Day at Ballylifford PS and what a very special morning it was for all grandparents, children and staff. We began with a beautiful mass during which children participated in the readings, prayers, reflections and singing. Thank you to Fr Donnelly for celebrating the mass and to Mrs Sweeney for leading the uplifting music.
This was followed by tea/homemade refreshments and 2 exciting games of Bingo. A special thank you to Brigid Ann and Orla for their wonderful hospitality and to the P.7 pupils for assisting with the Bingo. Thank you to all grandparents and family members for attending.
Grandparents hold our hand for a while but they hold our hearts forever!
