Confirmandi 2024

15th Mar 2024

A huge congratulations to all our P.7 pupils who celebrated the Sacrament of Confirmation yesterday evening along with P.7 pupils from Derrychrin PS.  The children were exemplary in their readings, prayers, singing, offertory and tin whistle and a real credit to our school.

Thank you to Archbishop Martin and Fr Donnelly for the beautiful ceremony and to John Wilson for helping us with our preparations.  Thank you to the altar society for the stunning floral arrangements and to Philomena McGuckin for helping the P.6 Altar servers prepare for this lovely Parish event.  You were all brilliant P.6.
Thank you to Mrs Conlan for preparing the children for Confirmation and creating the fantastic artwork on our display.  Thank you to Mrs Sweeney and Miss Hughes for the wonderful music which really added to the occasion - the children from P.3 to P.6 who sang in the choir, you were amazing and we appreciate you taking the time to come along yesterday evening.  Thank you to all the staff at Ballylifford PS for contributing to the faith journey of our P.7s from P.1 to P.7 and helping prepare the children for Confirmation - a real team effort by everyone.

Thank you to John O’Neill for taking our class photo and family photos at the end of mass - we greatly appreciate your time and patience.

Thank you to all the parents/carers and family members who attended or watched via the church webcam.  We hope you enjoyed the celebration and had a lovely evening with your families.
We wish our P.7s continued happiness and success throughout the rest of their P.7 year - God bless boys and girls.
