Today we welcomed Jillian from Ballinderry Rivers Trust into our classroom for a Minibeasts of the River Workshop. We had the opportunity to observe live minibeast samples up close and identify them using a key card. Through a short story and an interactive song we discovered which tiny creatures are living in our local river. Jillian also left us a fun craft activity to complete in school. We all thoroughly enjoyed this fantastic workshop and sincere thanks to Jillian and Ballinderry Rivers Trust for providing such a fascinating lesson about our local habitats.
